Menopause Yoga

Am over the moon to have now received my official accreditation as a Menopause Yoga Teacher. For far too long Menopause has been a taboo subject. Thankfully this has changed in the last few years and continues to be more openly discussed and acknowledged, and women no longer have to put up and shut up. Menopause Yoga is for all women from the age of 35 onwards, whether in Peri-Menopause, Menopause or Post Menopausal.

Menopause Yoga can help you to transition more smoothly through your own personal menopause journey. It can help to inform and equip you with the knowledge and tools to manage your own menopause, to help you to understand what is happening to you physically, mentally, and emotionally. You are not alone, and you are not losing your mind! Menopause Yoga will help to restore your equilibrium, and balance your hormones through the use of specific yoga postures and breathing practices, which address the stress and anxiety associated with Menopause. It will help you to embrace and welcome your journey through the seasons of your life into what is known in Traditional Chinese Medicine as the “Second Spring” of a womans’ life.

I will initially be running some menopause yoga classes and workshops online until it is safe enough to do these in person. Look out for mailings about these in the next few months.
