Since qualifying as a Yoga Teacher I have learned so much more about myself and yoga. I truly believe that connecting with people and teaching is what makes you a better teacher, and I love my job!

As a lifelong vegetarian I have always been concerned about the environment and animal welfare, and passionate about health and fitness, women’s health, nutrition, and holistic and alternative therapies. I am a reiki healer, and  now qualified in Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga for Menopause.

I run Yoga for Menopause workshops and classes which help women from age 40 navigate their way through the symptoms of peri-menopause and on into menopause. Millions of women are experiencing this normal part of their lifecycle every day and I want to help end the fear, shame, isolation and negativity that surrounds this.

I teach post-natal 1-2-1’s helping women to regain their confidence and strength, becoming fearless and empowered mummas!

My regular yoga classes are suitable for all levels. I welcome everyone and would love to see more men in my classes!

I teach all forms of Hatha Yoga including physical postures (asana) breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation, with a sprinkle of yogic philosophy blended in. My classes include slow and mindful vinyasa flow, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra, a form of guided meditation known as Yogic Sleep.

I truly believe that yoga is for everybody and every body and I strive to make my classes as inclusive and accessible as I can. I encourage my students to worry less about how a pose looks, and more about how it feels in the mind & body. I want everyone who attends a class with me to feel nurtured and cared for, and to feel that they can adapt their practice to suit their own body and how they are feeling that day. I encourage them to work at their own pace, and offer modifications and support. I really try to embody the experience of how yoga feels in the body and mind and want my students to leave the class feeling that they have been opened up, de-cluttered, refreshed, nourished and challenged in the best way possible, by balancing the nervous system for peace and equanimity.

I love to combine my love of yoga, mindfulness and meditation with walking, swimming, cycling and weights. I’m a real water baby and am never happier than when I am on or near water, especially the sea.

I would love to hear from you and look forward to meeting you on the mat very soon!
